Yes, the GYMBIM software platform is genuinely free. There is no platform subscription fee, no setup fee, and no lock-in. You only pay when you add members — ₹10 per active member/month on Basic, or ₹25 per active member/month on Pro. If a member is inactive or paused, you are not charged for them.
The Free plan gives you access to the full GYMBIM dashboard, your gym's website and member portal, lead capture tools, and basic CRM. It's designed for you to explore everything before you add paying members. Member management and subscription tracking kick in under the paid per-member plans.
At the end of each month, we count the number of active (paying) members in your gym. Paused or inactive members are not counted. You are billed that number × ₹10 (Basic) or ₹25 (Pro). A gym with 200 active members on Pro pays ₹5,000/month.
Basic (₹10/member) is cash-first: it lets you manage members and subscriptions digitally but doesn't include biometric gate control, self check-in kiosks, or automated WhatsApp/email communication. Pro (₹25/member) adds all of that — biometric gate integration, self check-in, online payments, and automated renewal reminders. Hardware for biometric scanners and gate locks is purchased separately on Pro.
No. Basic requires zero hardware. It's fully cloud-based software for member and subscription management with cash payment tracking. Hardware (biometric scanners, magnetic gate locks) is only relevant for the Pro plan, and is purchased separately — contact us for a quote.
Hardware pricing depends on the type of biometric device (facial retina scanner vs fingerprint), number of entry gates, and installation complexity.
